You are needed. Join us to Volunteer For Families of Active Military.

You are needed.  Our organization has a long tradition of volunteerism and community work.  Volunteering For Families of Active Military is another opportunity for us to be community leaders and make a powerful contribution.  "For Families of Active Military endeavors to offer stability, strength and support to our active military and their families on an emergency and proactive basis, whether it be physical, emotional or financial on an as needed basis."

Join us on Tuesday, November 26, 2024 to prepare dining tables for a Thanksgiving feast honoring troops from Fort Irwin.  The Army personnel from Fort Irwin train Armored Brigade Combat Teams.  This is our opportunity to demonstrate our appreciation.  We will prepare tables to serve the appetizers, a buffet, desserts, drape linens, and dress the tables with flatware, napkins, and candles.

LCROC Election Message

Election Day is upon us.  We want to ensure that every citizen has the opportunity to exercise their fundamental right to vote.  We firmly believe in the importance of civic engagement, and you matter.  This means you have the freedom and civic duty to cast your vote.

We encourage you to talk to your family, neighbors, and friends on Election Day.  Help us spread the word and make sure everyone has the ability to get to their polling place, if needed.

Remember, your vote is your voice, and it plays a vital role in shaping our society.  By participating in the election process, you are helping to build a better today and tomorrow.

Thank you for being an active citizen.

As far as our chapter, LCROC has worked hard and will continue to put in the work.  At our monthly meetings, we have learned from current and prospective elected officials and built relationships with them on matters of mutual concern.  We also heard from leaders on matters that relate to LGBT individuals.

LCROC is dedicated to lifelong learning as citizens and participation in the community.  Our various events, activities, and opportunities throughout the year demonstrate our commitment.  Some highlights of the year include a cliffside reception with Greg Wallis for Assembly, helping to host a special screening of UNDIVIDE US, participating in the Republican Party of Orange County’s Flag Day Salute, our Candidate Mixer with John Dade, Peggy Huang, Anthony Johnson, and Ron Scolesdang, and our Proposition 36 Forum with Assemblywoman Laurie Davies.

Communities benefit from officials that represent all citizens.  LCROC endorsed the following candidates in Orange County for the 2024 Election:

John Dade for Buena Park City Council (District 3)
Anthony Johnson for Yorba Linda City Council
Janet Nguyen for Orange County Supervisor (District 1)

Additionally, LCROC has regularly provided civic education, promoted our unique American culture, volunteered in the community, and shared trusted helplines and resources to support members.  It's at the heart of what we do.

On top of all that, we launched deeper into media.  Listen to The OC and do us a favor.  Share with a friend.

Overall, we have built and nurtured a strong and healthy coalition.

Thank you for your incredible support.

Sincerely,

President
LCROC
