LCR California PAC Dinner: Long Beach

 

 

Chairman of the California Log Cabin Republicans Political Action Committee, Kevin Gilhooley, hosted a great dinner on Saturday, September 16, 2023.  The LCRCA PAC is an exciting opportunity to discuss issues, candidates, and a vision for healthy government, duties and responsibilities of citizens, and the guarantees of freedom for all.

Dr. Craig Smith, a local scholar and former presidential speech writer spoke at the event.  Dr. Smith's informative speech highlighted the characteristics, oratory skills, and accomplishments of President Abraham Lincoln.  In fact, LCR is a reference to Lincoln, who was born in a Log Cabin. President Lincoln built the Republican Party on the principles of liberty and equality under the law.

Happy Warrior: William Wordsworth

 

William Wordsworth (born April 7, 1770) promoted social reform and civic duty. Discover more about his ideas in “The Character of the Happy Warrior”.

A fantastic time at our pool party on Saturday, August 19, 2023.  It was a great event with members and an opportunity to celebrate our collective achievements this year.

Thank you to our members for our Proud to Be an American Pool Party.

Special thanks to our Marsha Moeller.  Her generosity, opening her home, the catering, drinks, valet, and her enthusiasm helped us celebrate our accomplishments and building a better future for everyone in our community.

That support carries extra meaning and demonstrates how fantastic our members are in OC.

Congratulations to LCROC Vice-president Anthony Johnson on his campaign for Yorba Linda City Council. Very exciting news. We love seeing LCROC members taking leadership roles in their cities.
