"Save Max" Fundraiser
On behalf of Log Cabin Republicans of Orange County, thank you so much for attending and donating to the "Keeping a Promise" benefit last night for our friend in Afghanistan!
Legend Group forwarded us the following link which can be used to donate directly to him outside of Legend Group, that will go for his educational pursuits.
A big THANK YOU to Roman Nunes, who helped collect donations at the door. All donations and checks received at the door will be forwarded in a sealed envelope to Legend Group. Also, if there are any issues with checks that were written to Legend Group at the door, they will reach out to you directly.
Nelson & Huang for OC Superior Court Event
There are SO MANY OC Superior Court Judge positions open this year, and we're so delighted to have had a packed house for our forum with Shawn Nelson and Peggy Huang! And we even had another candidate join us (Eric Scarbrough who is DTS but not opposing a Republican) running for another open seat! Thank you all, and thank you to our venue (Royal Hen) for hosting us. Please let us know what you think about the venue!

Balboa Brunch Honoring the Life of Kelly Ernby
Thank you to the many attendees who joined our brunch honoring Kelly Ernby. Our chapter gathered together on Sunday, January 30, 2022 to honor our dear friend and fierce Orange County Deputy District Attorney Kelly Ernby who passed on January 2, 2022. The Board of LCROC extends their deepest condolences to her husband Axel Ernby and her family and prayers for this devastating loss.
Log Cabin Republicans of Orange County: Board Retreat
We have an exciting year ahead. LCROC held its board retreat on Saturday, January 29, 2022. A productive day of reflection, planning, and collaboration to make 2022 a terrific and strong year.
The election results: John C. Merrill, president, Jesse Bluma, vice-president, Kevin Santamaria, treasurer, Anthony Johnson, secretary.
Thank you to Kevin Gilhooley for hosting the daylong retreat and for his ongoing support of the chapter. The board also appreciates JR Gonda for chairing the membership committee.
