Happy Labor Day
Labor Day is observed on the first Monday in September as a celebration of hard work, achievements, individual growth, and professional contributions to the United States.
Lawrence McGann, Irish immigrant and U.S. Representative, supported Labor Day, “So long as the laboring man can feel that he holds an honorable as well as useful place in the body politic, so long will he be a loyal and faithful citizen” (Labor Day History: When and Why Did It Become a Holiday?).
