The LCROC Christmas Party and Annual Meeting was a smashing success. A time of celebration and opportunity to gather as a club. A time to give thanks, recognize our shared accomplishments, report on the year, and swear in officers to the board.
It's teamwork that makes possible the best parties and events. From our volunteer work to pool parties, Christmas parties to candidate forums, convention parties to 2nd Amendment Day, workshops to candidate endorsements, and so much more. The LCROC Board is dedicated to organizing political events, arranging community volunteer opportunities, providing helpful resources to support our membership, and ways to help local officials. Overall, happiness is the key to success. We are here to be helpers. We are here to be leaders in our community. We are here to support the chapter.
Thank you to the membership for your continued support and participation. Each member has talents and skills that are essential to keep our organization strong and healthy. Members can be of assistance by inviting friends and allies to our events, as well as sharing our event information on social media.

Special thanks to Marsha Moeller for opening her home. We are grateful for the hospitality, the thoughtful preparations, the decorating, the catering, and the support. Her generosity and enthusiasm helped us celebrate. Marsha made everyone feel extremely welcome and helped us create a celebration for everyone to enjoy and belong. We thank Marsha for inviting us into her festive home, the delicious hors d'oeuvres, and desserts. Marsha is the best.
Thank you to Jim Brophy, John Brashear, John Kristianson, and Chandler Wonderly for sponsoring the event. The ongoing and continued support is much appreciated. That support carries extra meaning and demonstrates how fantastic our members are in Orange County.
Thank you to Kevin Gillhooley, LCR California PAC Chairman, for attending our Christmas party. Kevin is a former president of LCROC and this year raised contributions from members to donate to campaigns.

We also had the pleasure of being joined by local officials. We appreciate Janice Lim, Yorba Linda City Council, Peggy Huang, Yorba Linda City Council, and Dan Slater, Mayor of Orange, for supporting our chapter. Their public service supports communities, is of help to the residents in their cities, and they protect the public's interests and rights.
The featured keynote speaker at our Christmas Party was Newsmax host Rick Leventhal.
About: "From the front lines in Iraq, Afghanistan, Libya, and other conflict zones to the base of the burning Twin Towers on 9/11 to the eye of countless hurricanes, Rick Leventhal chronicles some of the most amazing stories he’s covered in his thirty-five years as a news reporter, anchor, and Senior Correspondent—with some life lessons thrown in along the way."
We appreciate his dedication to journalism, international issues, and current events. Rick has witnessed first-hand the resilience of the human spirit. His book, Chasing Catastrophe, chronicles tragic events, turmoil, and significant turning points in the lives of others. It also serves as an important reminder about courage, helpfulness, being a good neighbor, and the role of good leadership. The events Rick covers remind us all to be helpers in our community. Visit here to learn more about Rick Leventhal.
Each year we donate boxes of toys to the Spark of Love campaign and emulate pure service to others. Again, this year attendees donated toys and sports equipment for the Spark of Love campaign. The Spark of Love campaign provides these items as gifts to youth in need across Southern California.
Wishing you all the best and a prosperous New Year, with good health and peace to all.
