St. Valentine’s Day Hike

St. Valentine’s Day Hike

*** FREE EVENT **

Log Cabin is the Home for LGBT and allies. Let's get together to celebrate the spirit of Saint Valentine.

The story of Valentine is shrouded in mystery, legend has it he was captured for helping others escape Roman persecution.  Another legend has it Valentine became a martyr for performing secret Christian weddings (Grinnell, “A Short History of the Long Story of Valentine’s Day”).

Location of Hike: Pacific Ridge Trailhead in Newport Beach.  Enjoy fantastic views of the ocean, Crystal Cove, and glimpses of the mountains.  Pacific Ridge Trailhead is a gently sloping path, making it a great place to hike.  Bring a hat, as there is no shade.
