Log Cabin Republicans National is the largest organization representing LGBT Republicans and allies who support fairness, freedom, and equality for all Americans.
The name of the organization is a reference to the first Republican President of the United States, Abraham Lincoln, who was born in a Log Cabin. President Lincoln built the Republican Party on the principles of liberty and equality under the law.
At our monthly chapter membership meetings, we learn from current and prospective elected officials in Orange County and build relationships with them on matters of mutual concern. We also hear from leaders on matters that relate to LGBT persons.
We organize events, volunteer to walk precincts, and participate in Get-Out-The-Vote activities in support of office holders and candidates who share our general philosophy.
Additionally, LCROC regularly provides civic education, promotes the unique American culture, volunteers in the community, and shares trusted helplines and resources to support members.
It's at the heart of what we do.
